Animal Hospital is a Roblox horror simulation game by Animal Anomaly where you work the night shift at a veterinary hospital. You must check in animal patients while identifying paranormal anomalies disguised as patients trying to sneak inside. As of July 2026, the game has 10 shifts of progressively increasing difficulty.

Codes are released through the official Anomaly Discord server and social media channels. Currently, Animal Hospital does not have an active code system, but rewards are earned through completing shifts and purchasing items with Animal Coins.

Surgeon is widely considered the best F2P class, offering sanity recovery and speed boosts on heal. Head Nurse is the best premium class for Robux users, providing extra inventory slots and starting items.

Watch for three eyes, hollow eye sockets, human teeth, unnatural grins, twitching movements, or patients whose eyes follow you. Always check visual signs first, then take a photo, and finally check CCTV before admitting any patient.

Admitted anomalies drain your sanity, harm real patients, trigger dangerous events, or transform into hostile Skinwalkers that attack the hospital. Always use the shutter to reject suspicious patients.

Animal Coins are earned by completing shifts, treating patients successfully, and rejecting anomalies. Higher shift numbers and cleaner runs yield more coins. Use coins to unlock new classes and items.

For F2P teams: 2 Surgeons, 1 Doctor, and 1 Security. For premium teams: 1 Secret Agent, 1 Surgeon, 1 Doctor, and 1 Head Nurse. Each role covers healing, combat, and support.

Classes are unlocked by purchasing them with Animal Coins or Robux in the Class Shop. Start with Intern (free), then buy Nurse (10 coins) or Secretary (120 coins) before saving for Doctor (900) or Surgeon (2,500).

The Journal System (Anomaly Index) is an in-game collection tracker that records every anomaly, NPC, and event you encounter. Introduced in The Hazmat Team Arrives update, it rewards bonus Animal Coins for completing entries. Access it from the pause menu during shifts.

Sam the Hazmat Specialist can be hired from the lobby contractor station for 250 Animal Coins. Sam automatically cleans toxic slime, repairs breakers, and neutralizes low-tier anomalies during shifts, and is available as a permanent gameplay addition.
